Falcon F-25-V-EO-LBR Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device, UL Listed, Fire-Rated, Less Bottom Rod

High-traffic applications demand the added strength and protection that comes with a vertical rod device. The Falcon 25-V Series delivers with a surface-applied design that includes standard top latch and deadlocking. The sleek touch bar design ensures an attractive installation. Offices, banks, assisted living facilities, retail stores, and other commercial buildings have constant traffic, so door hardware must be able to take continual use and abuse.

No exposed screws or rivets on the back of the device for a streamlined design and clean lines - when installed on full glass doors.

LBR (Less Bottom Rod) devices use a spring-loaded auxiliary latch bolt installed in the lower door edge. When exposed to heat the auxiliary latch bolt releases, keeping the doors in alignment and closed during a fire. UL listed 3 hours on hollow metal doors double egress, 90-minute swinging same direction, and 20-minute wood doors (consult wood door manufacturer). Fits door stiles as narrow as 3-1/2.

2 LBR devices must be ordered for pairs of doors. Single devices must be used in conjunction with an approved automatic or constant latching flush bolt.
