Trudoor TDE-1000V-L-SFIC Heavy-Duty Grade-1 Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device with Escutcheon Lever Trim Prepped for (SFIC) Small Format Interchangeable Core, Less Core, Panic Rated, Satin Stainless Steel
TDE-1000 Series surface vertical rod exit devices are an ideal choice for a wide variety of heavy-duty commercial, institutional, and industrial door applications where durability, reliability, and code compliance are required at an economical price. Trudoor products meet or exceed industry standards and can be substituted for any other specified brand.
- ANSI Function 08 (Classroom) or 09 (Night Latch / Storeroom): Ships as 08 Classroom – 09 function achieved with single trim modification at installation
- UL Listed for Panic Exit Hardware
- Designed for heavy use
- Top latch: U shaped top latch for secure engagement with strike (not electric strike compatible)
- Bottom latch: Drop bolt style bottom latch secures into flat strike & hole in the floor
- Heavy-duty extruded anodized aluminum mechanism case and cover plate
- Steel chassis, center case cover, push pad, and end cap
- Hex key dogging standard on panic exit device
- Prepped for Small Format Interchangeable Core (less core)
- Entry/classroom function – convertible to night latch
- Steel, zinc dichromated chassis, stainless steel exterior housing
- Thru-bolts to exit device for added strength
- 5″ solid stainless steel lever, 2-7/8″ total projection
- Escutcheon: 3″ wide x 9″ height x 3/4″ projection, covers 161 door prep
- 1-3/4″ door thickness standard
- Includes thru bolt posts and 1/4″-20 machine screws for installation
- Meets ADA requirements – A117.1 Accessibility code
